Back home

Going "home" (if I can really call it that) is a weird experience. Almost as soon as I arrived I headed off to Matt's house (they are cheap in Wisconsin) and had a dinner. Matt's girlfriend / roommate made us some very nice chicken. We were joined by JD and her son Phalen. I haven't seen him since he was only 6 months old, now 5 years, you can imagine the growth. After diner it was off to the bar. Joe's Fox Hut, which is owned by another friend, Mike, was the same. $1 tappers. A fucking dollar. Anyway, much beer latter and it's Sunday morning. I awake with a call from Shawn (my second oldest friend, Matt being the oldest). He was going hunting (I'm not sure, but I think it involves killing) and just returned. We meet for lunch at CK. Apparently you can only smoke in two restaurants in FDL now. Lucky for me CK is one of them. I think it is an evil plan to keep the teens from hanging out and drinking coffee all night, but what do I know. Shawn looked great and I saw a picture of his daughter, who also looked great. On the way out of town we stopped and grabbed some burgers from Tuckers. Fun.
