Tab Bookmarks in Safari
David Hyatt, one of the programers working on Safari, has opened up his blog for people to suggest improvements to Safari. I have been reluctant to add my voice but I give. So here are a two of my opinions.
Like everyone else in the world I would like tabs, but not for the same reasons. I never really got into the whole tab thing even though I usually have ten or more browser windows open. I guess I just got used to using the dock menus to switch between windows. What did finally turn me on were tab bookmarks. I love being able to click a bookmark and have all the blogs or news sites I read open up, and all in one window is just a bonus. I would love to see this in Safari.
I would also like Safari to be able to find a RSS feed for a site, through Link tag or something, and put a button in the toolbar for subscribing that would send it to NetNewsWire or some other program.
That it. Just two unoriginal suggestions.
