Nanotechnology

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Nanotech may spark fierce ethical row

I was just talking to Josh about this the other night. Nanotech is going to change the world, whether you believe it or not. We are within throwing distance of being able to cure all disease and to being able to live far longer, if not forever. It will completely change the economy, crushing it mostly. There needs to be some serious discussing on what will happen when we are able to make anything you can dream about.

It is coming on very fast, some are now predicting that the most staggering discoveries will happen within 20 years. It is important for the companies and researchers behind these to get their side out before the nay-sayers do. We can not let what happened to cloning happen here. The article talks mostly about ethics, but basically, what they are saying is that someone is going to win a PR battle. Let's hope it is the good guys.

there's a new newletter on Nanotechnology...on that is readable and straight called ...NanoClarity. www.nanoclarity.com...everyone should subscribe. the publisher has a superb reputation for understanding technology and the business side of technology. It's a great buy and promises to debunk the potential hype.
