I love this movie(Rock my world)... it's one of my favorites. I have to watch it everytime it's on stars... not to mention Karem(Flit) looks total hott in this movie as Flit. I recomend this movie.

They're not going to come out with a soundtrack. It has already been about a year and there aren't enough songs to make a soundtrack. I think the only way to find the songs would be to search Kazaa or something. Good Luck searching!

Sorry for the delayed response.
Following is my update and suggestions for everyone.....
So far in what I've found, there is NO SOUNDTRACK for the movie.
I searched and searched and since I am a good searcher(as well a very patient on the web) I was able to find only a few of the songs on Kazaa.
In searching yourselves you have to be creative and broaden what you're looking for.
Believe me, the group Casino is almost non-existent.
A. Zinoani is the writer on ALL the songs... just check out the credits at the end of the movie and you'll see who the song was Performed By then who they were Written By.
Northstar has it's own website and I had to send them an email referencing the movie as well as where in the heck I can get a copy of the soundtrack(if it exists at all in which I'm finding that it doesn't).
I've even written the studio house and Triple Crown Records and still have yet to hear from them.
I would suggest to everyone that you get more elaborate with your search in Kazaa as if you just search for the exact name of each song, you come up very short every time.
I was lucky to get Casino's "I Love Lake Tahoe" and "Again" but honestly enough my search stopped there.
I am so pissed that I can't get "Star" and "Home" by Northstar which are my favorites from the movie yet I'm keeping my fingers crossed while still searching for the others.
When I downloaded those first two songs, I noticed that the author is most definitely NOT Casino but someone by the name of "A"(try that in Kazaa).
Take a chance and download songs that may be of similar sounding names because you may just turn up lucky like I did in some cases.
I still have songs downloading at home(I'm at work while writing this) and I'm waiting to hear the finished product BUT I also suggest when you start your downloads that you listen to only part of each song while its still downloading that way if its NOT what you're looking for you can stop the search and delete the song instead of wasting further time.
Last thing on this, and it's nothing personal to anyone here, is that since I have over 400 or so songs on my hard drive, I cut people off from downloading copies of anything from me some time ago and that was only because my computer crashed a few times and I'm not ever going to take that chance again.

I've just watched the movie on satellite for the first time and - being 47 years old (and therefore probably older than most of your mothers) - I can also say with hand on heart that Karem is ... hot ! BUT, I do want to point out that, while not particularly hot, Peter O'Toole and Joan Plowright give wonderful performances. Peter O'Toole in particular is incredibly agile and energetic for a 71 year old - and if you want to see HOT then just check him out from about 50 years ago in "Lawrence of Arabia" - he was absolutely gorgeous (with black eyeliner not unlike Karem...).

***Masterpiece***AAAA++Glad to finally find something, anything regarding this movie & it's music. Very Disappointed about there being no sountracks however; it was very generous of many people to put out hints and suggestions on how to find any music from this moveie. It's funny my boyfreind being a professional musician even loves the music and the movie. I am 32 so it's not just the yound ones who love flit. The story, the music & performance make this the best movie I have seen in many years. However, I think many people are missing the best thing about this movie> David the Stoner. Holy shit that is my soul mate. I even told my 8 year term boyfriend that I need to marry David. Who I also seen in Kill Me Later that same week anouther good movie. Oh! and In England Rock My World is called Global Heresy, English movies and American movies seem to never agree to use the same title when using other movies.

I used to be Ray Loverock's (who wrote "STAR" and "HOUSE") girlfriend for 8 years. Ray is a very talented man, and will always be special to me and Im so glad you all like the songs. I can tell you a little secret, Im sure he wont mind!! He wrote House about the flat we shared, it was so cold in the winter we had to live in one room, and he wrote most of it on the toilet. Wow, I didn't think there was so many RMW fans! I too am obsessed with the movie and the songs from it. I'm rather disappointed that there never was a release for the soundtrack, but luckily I have found all the songs at http://rockmyworld.isgreat.tv/. Including the song Stormy Weather! If anyone is interested I made cover art for the soundtrack that you can find by going to my fanart site. I will be updating the cover art to include "Stormy Weather" since when I first created it I did not have that song. I welcome anyone who wants to print the art out and use it for your cd. Hello, i agree with keram's cuteness status, and with the outpoor of love for the movie and music!!! to the questions about his sexuality.. i shared them but i found an article where he said "It's not so much that I have an interest in playing gay roles or playing sexually ambiguous roles," he says. My husband and I are musicians and really appreciate this movie. I too have been looking for the songs and appreciate all the hard work you folks have done to find all of these links. Thanks a lot!!!! As I am married to a drummer I am naturally drawn to the drummer from the movie. Of course I AM old enough to be his, um, older sister! This sucks, I really want to buy this soundtrack. How is it that a soundtrack for *this* movie was never made? It reminds me of the Dennis Leary bit... John Lennon was shot 9 times by Mark David Chapman...9 F'n times! Yoko Ono was standing right next to him...how was it possible not one bullet hit her?
Also this movie, which obviously is well liked by those who find it, was never promoted and sent straight to the bargain bins...how is THAT possible.
Do I really need to be in charge of everything? I've got stuff to do, I can't be watching everyone!

Also, the quality of the downloads that are available are pretty poor...like 80kps...ouch. Fortunately two of my favorite songs was on an "A" album that I purchased way back in 2000 (including the Lake Tahoe song).
That CD can be purchased for uh...purchased isn't the right word, but it's available used at Amazon.
Any idea how/where I could buy the other songs, or download better quality and pay the artists directly?

I have already seen this movie about 3 times having recently found it on cable and I saw Alicia Silverstone was going to come out on it so I decided to give it a whirl and fell totally inlove with the movie. Aside from all the drug use and profanity, I thought it was a very funny and entertaining movie and the songs were just awesome. Being a singer myself I was able to appreciate the wonderful songs featured in this movie and will be downloading them too. Glad to know there are others who feel the same.

Oh My God! you people have saved my life and i will be in debt to you forever! i have been looking all over for the music to this movie and if i hadn't found this sight i may have died from frustration. I bought the movie a couple months ago and have watched it a million times since! it is one of my all time favourites! And i know that everyone has been saying this already but Keram is soooo freaking hot! And for you Canadians if you ever used to watch the show Ready Or Not, he played Lizard! so funny.
Anyhoo..i am also totally in love with Christopher Bolton! he is hilarious and sexy as Carl...but sadly he seems even older than KMS. I hope 18 isn't too young for him.

OK, I have to comment. I have been looking for the songs like crazy. Like all of you, I searched EVERYWHERE for them. My boyfriend thought I was nuts. I sang the songs all the time and it just sucked that I couldn't hear the whole song. (the movie just doesn't play the whole thing.) Yes, I think The guy who played Flit is cute in that movie, but I agree with who ever said it was just in that movie. Drive me Crazy is another movie I watch every time it's on, and he is in that also. My "guy" in the movie is Chris Bolton and sadly, I can't even find so much as a handful of info on him. I thought I was the only person looking for this "soundtrack" and I gave up last summer after finding nothing, then today I just said the hell with it and let me try again. I am glad to see I am not the only one anymore. Well, just had to share that. everything in this movie is great? flit is played by Keram Malicki-Sanchez. He has been in a lot of movies and is also a very very good musician and has played with John Taylor of Duran Duran..... And yes he is HOT and very intelligent.

They're not going to come out with a soundtrack. It has already been about a year and there aren't enough songs to make a soundtrack. I think the only way to find the songs would be to search Kazaa or something. Good Luck searching!

Sorry for the delayed response.
Following is my update and suggestions for everyone.....
So far in what I've found, there is NO SOUNDTRACK for the movie.
I searched and searched and since I am a good searcher(as well a very patient on the web) I was able to find only a few of the songs on Kazaa.
In searching yourselves you have to be creative and broaden what you're looking for.
Believe me, the group Casino is almost non-existent.
A. Zinoani is the writer on ALL the songs... just check out the credits at the end of the movie and you'll see who the song was Performed By then who they were Written By.
Northstar has it's own website and I had to send them an email referencing the movie as well as where in the heck I can get a copy of the soundtrack(if it exists at all in which I'm finding that it doesn't).
I've even written the studio house and Triple Crown Records and still have yet to hear from them.
I would suggest to everyone that you get more elaborate with your search in Kazaa as if you just search for the exact name of each song, you come up very short every time.
I was lucky to get Casino's "I Love Lake Tahoe" and "Again" but honestly enough my search stopped there.
I am so pissed that I can't get "Star" and "Home" by Northstar which are my favorites from the movie yet I'm keeping my fingers crossed while still searching for the others.
When I downloaded those first two songs, I noticed that the author is most definitely NOT Casino but someone by the name of "A"(try that in Kazaa).
Take a chance and download songs that may be of similar sounding names because you may just turn up lucky like I did in some cases.
I still have songs downloading at home(I'm at work while writing this) and I'm waiting to hear the finished product BUT I also suggest when you start your downloads that you listen to only part of each song while its still downloading that way if its NOT what you're looking for you can stop the search and delete the song instead of wasting further time.
Last thing on this, and it's nothing personal to anyone here, is that since I have over 400 or so songs on my hard drive, I cut people off from downloading copies of anything from me some time ago and that was only because my computer crashed a few times and I'm not ever going to take that chance again.

I did some searching because I also would like to get the songs from the movie. Casino now goes by the name "A." They are signed to Mammoth Records. The website is http://mammoth.go.com/ I also found them on www.allmusic.com. I hope this helps any.

The best thing I can say to you and everyone else is.... keep you chin up and keep on searching because I know that those songs are out there somewhere.... and YES, I am determined to find them.

I've just watched the movie on satellite for the first time and - being 47 years old (and therefore probably older than most of your mothers) - I can also say with hand on heart that Karem is ... hot ! BUT, I do want to point out that, while not particularly hot, Peter O'Toole and Joan Plowright give wonderful performances. Peter O'Toole in particular is incredibly agile and energetic for a 71 year old - and if you want to see HOT then just check him out from about 50 years ago in "Lawrence of Arabia" - he was absolutely gorgeous (with black eyeliner not unlike Karem...).

The good news...... I have the cd from the band Casino.
The bad news...... pirating on the internet(you know.... that ill famous MP3 download thing that we all love to do so much yet would hate to get caught doing).

As proof, I will turn on my voice chat and let you hear any one of the songs from the movie.
Other than that, that's the best I can do for you until you're lucky enough to get blessed with a copy of the cd yourself.

***Masterpiece***AAAA++Glad to finally find something, anything regarding this movie & it's music. Very Disappointed about there being no sountracks however; it was very generous of many people to put out hints and suggestions on how to find any music from this moveie. It's funny my boyfreind being a professional musician even loves the music and the movie. I am 32 so it's not just the yound ones who love flit. The story, the music & performance make this the best movie I have seen in many years. However, I think many people are missing the best thing about this movie> David the Stoner. Holy shit that is my soul mate. I even told my 8 year term boyfriend that I need to marry David. Who I also seen in Kill Me Later that same week anouther good movie. I have both DVD's and have made everyone I know watch them. Everyone came back the same "what a great movie where the hell did you find it" Great work everybody & thankx for the tips.

Oh! and In England Rock My World is called Global Heresy, English movies and American movies seem to never agree to use the same title when using other movies.
Maybe if you looked around for Global Heresy instead of Rock My World you could find something.

I used to be Ray Loverock's (who wrote "STAR" and "HOUSE") girlfriend for 8 years. Ray is a very talented man, and will always be special to me and Im so glad you all like the songs. I can tell you a little secret, Im sure he wont mind!! He wrote House about the flat we shared, it was so cold in the winter we had to live in one room, and he wrote most of it on the toilet. Wow, I didn't think there was so many RMW fans! I too am obsessed with the movie and the songs from it. I'm rather disappointed that there never was a release for the soundtrack, but luckily I have found all the songs at http://rockmyworld.isgreat.tv/. Including the song Stormy Weather! My husband and I are musicians and really appreciate this movie. I too have been looking for the songs and appreciate all the hard work you folks have done to find all of these links. Thanks a lot!!!! As I am married to a drummer I am naturally drawn to the drummer from the movie. Of course I AM old enough to be his, um, older sister! Anyway, I have encouraged every rock musician I know to see this movie. It ROCKS!!!!!!

This sucks, I really want to buy this soundtrack. How is it that a soundtrack for *this* movie was never made? It reminds me of the Dennis Leary bit... John Lennon was shot 9 times by Mark David Chapman...9 F'n times! Yoko Ono was standing right next to him...how was it possible not one bullet hit her?
Also this movie, which obviously is well liked by those who find it, was never promoted and sent straight to the bargain bins...how is THAT possible.
Do I really need to be in charge of everything? I've got stuff to do, I can't be watching everyone!

Also, the quality of the downloads that are available are pretty poor...like 80kps...ouch. Fortunately two of my favorite songs was on an "A" album that I purchased way back in 2000 (including the Lake Tahoe song).
That CD can be purchased for uh...purchased isn't the right word, but it's available used at Amazon.
Any idea how/where I could buy the other songs, or download better quality and pay the artists directly?

I have already seen this movie about 3 times having recently found it on cable and I saw Alicia Silverstone was going to come out on it so I decided to give it a whirl and fell totally inlove with the movie. Aside from all the drug use and profanity, I thought it was a very funny and entertaining movie and the songs were just awesome. Being a singer myself I was able to appreciate the wonderful songs featured in this movie and will be downloading them too. Glad to know there are others who feel the same.

Oh My God! you people have saved my life and i will be in debt to you forever! i have been looking all over for the music to this movie and if i hadn't found this sight i may have died from frustration. I bought the movie a couple months ago and have watched it a million times since! it is one of my all time favourites! And i know that everyone has been saying this already but Keram is soooo freaking hot! And for you Canadians if you ever used to watch the show Ready Or Not, he played Lizard! so funny.
Anyhoo..i am also totally in love with Christopher Bolton! he is hilarious and sexy as Carl...but sadly he seems even older than KMS. I hope 18 isn't too young for him.

OK, I have to comment. I have been looking for the songs like crazy. Like all of you, I searched EVERYWHERE for them. My boyfriend thought I was nuts. I sang the songs all the time and it just sucked that I couldn't hear the whole song. (the movie just doesn't play the whole thing.) Yes, I think The guy who played Flit is cute in that movie, but I agree with who ever said it was just in that movie. Drive me Crazy is another movie I watch every time it's on, and he is in that also. My "guy" in the movie is Chris Bolton and sadly, I can't even find so much as a handful of info on him. I thought I was the only person looking for this "soundtrack" and I gave up last summer after finding nothing, then today I just said the hell with it and let me try again. I am glad to see I am not the only one anymore. Well, just had to share that. Thanks for all you guys who posted the links, I know that was hard work, believe me, I have spent alot of hours looking for the songs myself.. What is up with this cinemavault.com too.
