More Motorcycle Mods

Second customization of the my motorcycle has taken place. Remember how I wanted a custom seat but no one makes one for my bike? Well it turns out that my aunt and uncle own an upholstering shop.

I dropped the seat off on saturday hoping that I would have it back in a few hours. Well there were a few snags and I picked it up today instead. They reshaped the foam and it has a much nicer look to it now. No more tufts, just smooth leather. With a much lower profile.

Yeah, it's actually real leather now. The only thing was that they didn't have any scrap leather that was black. So instead they used brown. I haven't decided how I feel about that. If the bike was black it would be great. With blue...I'll have to give it a few days. It doesn't look bad really, it just sticks out. The seat is now the first thing that you notice about it.

Next step? New handmade handlebars. I have to make a friend with a metal shop.
