Can I just say how much I love Applescript?

Problem: My hosting provider, although great, has a problem with their stats. They never seem to be run with any consistency. Sometimes it can be days in between updates. Plus their copy of Webalizer isn't setup to my liking. It doesn't filter out my site, so of course, my pages are always the top referrers. They do offer raw log files though...

Solution: A very simple applescript that uses Transmit to download the log file into the appropriate folder. It than runs a shell script that runs Webalizer with my settings. The script than opens up the stats page in Safari for me.

Now this is simple and people do much more impressive things with it, but it turns a multiple step process into one quick one for me.
