I have but a few comments.

Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Indiana says:

really radiate our ideas and our influence.

and

My guess is we're going to see a lot of changes backed by the fact that there always is a military option.

How scary is that? My biggest fear of this war was that our government would use the success as a reason to invade other countries. War is now always an option apparently.

I know I'm probably over-reacting, but it sounds to me like he wants to erase all their culture and replace it with ours. Isn't that one of the reasons why there is such hatred for americans in the area already? Policies like these will only breed more of the same.
