Apple Announcements

Apple had a few big announcements today. So far I really like the improvements in iTunes 4. It will take me a while to get all the cover art for my albums though.

Some of my albums are ripped at 128 bits from when I started out, so I'll probably dig them out of the closet and re-encode them using AAC. We will see if it really is better.

Purchasing music through Apple's iTunes Music Store is really simple, but they lack a lot of music from smaller labels. Hopefully that will improve over time.

Like Etan I don't like that my iPod doesn't have some of the new features. The playlist on the fly would be very nice to have. No matter, I'm looking to sell mine anyway.
