Close Calls

Imagine you are riding your motorcycle at 30 mph and are coming up to a stop sign. You squeeze the front brake and it doesn't move. You are not stopping. That was my experience today. Thank you back brake. Had there been a need for a quick stop I would have been in trouble.

A little disassembly, cleaning and reassembly and I'm out riding again. When all your vehicle's mechanical parts are exposed to the weather they develop problems. A reminder to thoroughly check the bike for taking off.

Josh's Birthday

What a beautiful day! 84 and sunny, to bad I slept through most of it. Had I known that it was going to be so nice, I may have tried to get to bed before 7 this morning. Well, probably not.

Erica, the woman from the other night, called me yesterday to see if I wanted to get lunch. I met up with her at Salt & Pepper around 2. Afterwards we came back to my house for Josh's birthday.

None of us have much cash right now so we celebrated by drinking at home. Josh seemed to have a good time. He wasn't looking forward to his 25th. I owe him a present. It's going to end up being a 40 of Olde English. A little flashback to the Milwaukee days.

Another Sister

My sister Kate wanted to get on the Movabletype bandwagon as well. Comments and trackbacks are just to alluring I guess. She has now been added to my server. My mom will be next. I'm going to wait on that and let Kate get acquanted with how it works first. She will be the one showing my mom.

Date

Well my date just ended. I would say that it went well. It was great and Etan was right, the boyfriend isn't really an issue. I've been up for 24 hours now. I didn't get my nap in yesterday.
