Sweet Home Alabama

Along with watching Catch Me If You Can the other night, I also saw Sweet Home Alabama. It should be stated in the out set that I love Reese Witherspoon. She can do no wrong.

I was hoping that this movie would be similar to Election. The ridiculous comedy is my favorite genre without a doubt. I set my self up for disappointment. Turns out to be more of a standard romantic comedy, not one of my favorite genres.

It did have it's moments though. Ethan Embry is too cute and his character was pretty funny. The biggest surprise had to be Patrick Dempsey though. I was unaware that he was making a come back. I often forget but Loverboy is one of my favorite 80s movies.

Sweet Home Alabama may not have been great, but it wasn't a waste of time. Another decent comedy with Reese Witherspoon. I'm sure she'll keep it up.
