Ollie and Etan are both talking about the ads that Google's Adsense program would run on their sites. Ollie will sell you Apple Computers and services, and Etan a NY Times subscription as well as blog software.

Me? I'd be selling the Peace Corps, Habitat for Humanity, Donating to Charity, American Cancer Society and the National PTA. Well I guess selling isn't the right word, maybe fund raising.

I'm a little surprised, and I think the National PTA would be to. Apparently I have incredibly generous readers :-)

My Bed

Not too long ago I built myself a new lofted bed. Since the weather was still chilly, I didn't think about the summer months. Now that it's in the 90s my bed is almost unusable.

Besides the fact that heat rises, the vent is right behind the bed and shoots straight down on top of my TV. The air conditioning never has a chance.

To solve this dilemma I made a little scoop out of a discarded box left over from our party. You can see it in the second pic. Not the best looking thing in the world, but my sleeping area is already more comfortable. Just in time for the temp to go back to normal.
