I'm Back

I just got back for the Apple Store opening downtown, just four hours after I left. We got there an hour before it opened and the line was already wrapping around three city blocks. Within an half hour the line was doubling over itself, totaling around 6 city blocks, or about a half mile. I wish I had a digital camera, but I'm sure pics of the event will show soon enough.

Once the store opened the line moved quickly and we were inside in less than an hour. I couldn't buy anything so we just looked around. I was hoping that they had SimCity 4 but as it just started shipping today I wasn't surprised when it wasn't.

The store is crazy big. They have a classroom in this one on the third floor I guess, but we didn't get to see it. The internet cafe is really just a few iMacs with iSights, no drinky drink.

I'll be going there next week to buy my iSight, and may just stop by on Tuesday to see Cheap Trick :-)
