Living in San Diego

I have been looking at apartments and houses in San Diego for the last couple of days. For fun. I don't know the neighborhoods at all, so I'm guessing a lot, but god can you find some cheap places. At the same time some of them are just as expensive as Chicago, even in the same neighborhoods.

My favorite so far.

COLLEGE AREA nice house lg yard w/d $500 mo+util $250 dep

I don't care if it's one room and it's falling down, it's a house for $500. From what I can tell College Area is residential and cheap, but still nice.

With summer now halfway over, it's nice to dream of sunny places. My 26th winter is not going to be fun.
