Dinner Downtown
For some reason that I can not fathom, Serena wanted to eat dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe downtown. I tried not to go, but once she offered to pay for my food my resistance waned. So off we went, Josh, Steve, Serena and me.
The place was being over run by little children, which, I guess, is to be expected. The food was awful. My burger was cold and just gross.
The "thunderstorms" they have every twenty minutes suck. Not nearly as intense as I would have liked them to be. But they did give us an idea for a really ridiculous bar. The Rain Forest Bar, or Drinking in the Rain as we've come to calling it. Imagine a bar that rains every fifteen minutes or so. Now I wouldn't want to be there, but for some reason I think others would. Well if it wasn't located in Chicago at least. Cold....
I have to lay down now, my food isn't sitting well at all.

never been (yet) to rainforest cafe, but i empathize the "food not sitting well" feeling. drink some milk and stay laid down a while.

i was once dragged to a Rain Forest Cafe..i don't know what was worse, the dining experience itself or the fact that the restaurant was in the Mall of America...
