Wildlife

I had to go up to Lake Forest Illinois this afternoon to meet with a new client. On my way out there I drove through a lightly wooded area. As I passed through I saw a young deer hopping along. It was a nice reprieve from the city. It was very calming. So calming that it surprised me actually. Almost surreal.

It was one of those moments when I wished I had a camera.

The Family

My Mom is stateside. She should be hanging out in Boston tonight before she flies off to Maine for a sailing class. In about a week she'll be making her way to Chicago. If she actually updated her blog, I would be able to keep track of her trip (hint hint).

Maybe while she's here we will go to the Museum of Science and Industry. They have an exhibit called the Great Train Story. Basically a train set depicting the railway between Chicago and Seattle. I love train sets.
