Dude, Where's My Country?

I just finished reading Dude, Where's My Country by Michael Moore. I bought it with Erica last weekend.

I thought it was pretty good. Certainly a quick read. He has some good ideas for winning the next election. At least about getting out and lending a hand to some good candidates. If I wasn't so lazy I might actually do that.

The most interesting thing in the book are the stats on where Americans stand politically. It's no surprise that most of us are more liberal than not. What he doesn't really talk about, or at least not directly, is the left's inability to get the vote out. That's the conservatives best weapon. They get their people to vote. If we could get more of the people to vote, would we ever have another Bush? I doubt it.

It's worth picking up if you lean his way, but of course, take everything with a grain of salt.
