Arrested Development

Arrested Development is my new favorite show. It took me awhile to find it, but now that I have, I'm in love.

Sopranos

sopranosI watched the season premier of the Sopranos tonight. I gotta say, not that great. Nothing really seemed to stand out, and the opening scene, can I just say, a little on the nose. Thanks for the reminder that Carmela is man-less now and apparently doesn't know how to rake.

And what's with the picture they're using on HBO's site? Just a tad over dramatic? There was a time when I loved this show, but now I'm not so sure. I'm sure it will improve, but by how much?

I find my self wondering when Six Feet Under starts again?

Target

TargetA new Target opened a few blocks from me this weekend and these guys have been driving around the area since. They're kinda cute on their little Vespas.

I was going to go there this afternoon, but when I drove by, the line for the parking lot was half way around the block. I can't believe people are willing to wait in line like that. It would probably be just as fast to drive to the one in Burbank.

I'm also surprised the city let them build it there. Combined with the new Best Buy and Borders (may be a B&N), it's going to be crazy traffic. Lucky for me, I can walk there.

Cookling & Cleaning

With Erica in town, I knew it wouldn't be long before she took me grocery shopping. She made me buy a frying pan, salt & pepper, a toilet brush, and many other useful things. So tonight I'll be cooking for the first time in my apartment (the PB&Js don't count). I'll be making my famous Sloppy Joes. Besides brats and Mac & Cheese, that's all I got.

Tomorrow she's making me steak though. Yum Yum.

She also made me clean my apartment. It's been awhile. The bathroom was looking particularly skank. It's good to have active visitors.
