He guys:

I have a 1974 Corvette that is in need of a overhaulin. I'm currently putting my son through college and don't have the fund to do the job properly. My son knows I can't work on the car until I get his college paid for and it would be a nice surprise to get the car overhauled now inside of years from now.

Dear Overhaulin',
My husband has a '75 Olds Cutlass Supreme that he has hopes to one-day fix up. He drove this care all through high school and during his four years of military service. His last year in the service he had it painted a candy brandy wine with a pearl top and it was gorgeous. It has been in storage for the last 5 years and previous to that sat out be hind my parent's barn for about 5 years but it is still in pretty good condition. He would be so excited if you were to Over Haul his car. We are in the process of building a new home so he tapes every episode and then watches it that very evening even after a normal 8 hour work day and then an additional 4-6 hour construction night. He loves the show. My husband is my best friend and he is such an awesome guy I just would like to make his dream come true with your help.

Hope to hear from you soon.

My name is Gary and I'm not a computer savy person. To tell you the truth, I'm not very good at it at all. I read some of the stories on line, and I must say that you guys and gals have your work cut out for you. My story is that I have been working on a 63 Chevy Nova for about 12 years now. When you have kids then grand kids, you time seems to deminish very quickly. Plus the money seems to go elsewhere. The wife thinks it's a piece of crap, but it is part of the family and one year it will be a proud part of my family. Please help me bring and end to this madness of people telling me to get rid of something that I truly love. Thanks for the shows that give me hope that oneday I will be a pruod owner. HI, I am hoping you can help. My husband has been racing for about 9 years 1/4 mile.He has evolved from a few cars such as a 10 second Vega to a 67 camaro. We are having diffaculty now. He wants to be competative. So he built a 590 big block Camaro. It is ladder bared tubbed subframes and mild steel cage. and goes 9.40 on motor. The problem is that we paid to have it done because we own a auto shop and build street cars but do not have the equipment to do that job. But he wants to hit the buttom to be more competative in his field. He needs to be in the eights and it is not a motor problem it is a chassis problem. It does not want to go straight, we have video. It has gone back to the guy who did it and it just isn't working. I was hoping that you would be interested in helping us, we would give you more info. My husband feels that the work done needs to be cut out and redone. The car could also use a paint job it is kinda rough. Please help if you can, he loves to race and everytime he catches up to the big boys something goes wrong. He will miss another season, because he cannot aford to fix it, again. 9 years now I hope he finally gets there he is so close. 805 496-5035 or 805 496-8109. Dianna husband Ernie

Dear Overhaulin',

My name is Jennifer, I have three step children and have been with my husband for 3 years. My husband watches your show every week. He has a 1971 Ford F100. He has been working on his truck for at less 4 years. He rebuilt the engine and started doing some custom work. In March of 2001 he got hurt at work and had two back surgeries and needs to have one more at less. With us both being on Work Comp. the money is not there so we have to do a little bit at a time. Then on June 15 2003 his kids went to spend the summer with their mother in Japan. She only sent back two of the three children. For the last year we have been working on getting help getting him back. The money now goes toward attorneys, court costs and filing fees. With him being injured, his son not being here, and having no money he is having a hard time right now. He sit there and looks at his truck and just say "One day I'll get back to her". This is one thing that I know would make him so happy. I would be very greatful if you could make this one dream come true for him to have his hot rod truck done.

Thank You Jennifer Blackwell

Hi foks at overhaulin, I really would like to get you boys , to Connecticut to look at a 1993 Buick Rivera soft top , 2 dr coupe. In good condition but my boyfriend feels he must modify this(his) baby. So here is the promblem --he modified the doors and body 3 years ago. He removed the door handles and closed-up the markings--Bondoed them.Reinstalled push buttons under the back fenders to open doors.--Well herre we are one year later--The electrical system wears out the battery--and it is not the alternator.---$300.00, later no mechanic knows whats wrong. In the mean time we have only 1 month to move from my h ouse to a brand new home with a new garage.. You quessed it , I donot want this baby in the clean garage, so he is redoing what he has been doing for 4 years now--remodifying his car.. Can you people find out who can help us with this lasting project, that is driving this old lady crazy. We hope to hear from you soon. love your show and its players. Incidently he never gets to watch the show because he is a Limo driver and must rise at 3 A.M., to pickup clients for their ride to the airtports. Thanks So
uch for listening--my Driveway is a mess--Madeline Opper, wife to be of this kid in my driveway, Jack Karbowicz--Age 63--and still fooling around with his Royal Blue Baby.
