Why Live in LA

It seems most everyone living in LA, with the possible exception of people from LA, hate it. At the same time, no one ever leaves. They just stay here all the while talking about how much better ______ * is.

From my amateur observations there seems to be two reasons for this.

1. The weather. Who wants to go back to the New York or Chicago winters? Not me, though this June Gloom thing is getting really old.

2. Money. Wealth is everywhere you turn. At any moment you can become rich, or at least that's what it feels like. You can almost reach out and grab it. The air is just thick with money.

3. I know I said two, but I'm just not good at sticking to numbers. You just feel more important here then you do other places. Now this one is more personal, I can't say if anyone else feels it but I bet they do.
